Universal Studios Goes All Out For The Scare[]

In honor of Halloween Horror Nights' 13th year of scaring guests out of their wits, here are some frightfully large -- and small -- numbers showing what it takes to pull it off this year.

Starting at 7 p.m. today, Halloween Horror Nights continues Oct. 10-12, Oct. 15-19, Oct. 22-26 and Oct. 28-Nov. 1. $41.95 advance, $51.95 day of event for Florida residents. Tickets available at gate or through Ticketmaster and Spencer Gifts stores. Call 877-2FRIGHT.

45 -- Average minutes a scare-actor spends on costume makeup each night.

12 -- Giant scorpions and tarantulas that will crawl around a guest's head in InfeStation.
