Universal Monsters: Legends of Fear was one of two mazes that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2022 (Japan). It was located in Stage 22. The house would return the following year for Halloween Horror Nights 2023 (Japan).

This legendary maze, which earned the highest satisfaction rate* at Universal Orlando Resort's Halloween Horror Nights, descends upon Universal Studios Japan. Relying only on your friends, you must flee from Universal Monsters that assail you in the darkness of the cemetery. Step into the marvelous worlds of the Wolf Man, Frankenstein, and Dracula and experience a series of unparalleled desperate crises and fierce ambushes. Can you survive this hell?

The maze was designed beautifully with detailed sets and choreographed scares, scaled up scenes with use of mirrors and other big effects that were not used in the Orlando counterpart.
Guests were pulsed into the house in small groups and one guest in each group was given a lantern. The lantern changes color and brightness depending on the rooms which made the house more interactive although was not needed as the maze not dark to begin with but could be seen as a help for scareactors to see guests entering each room.
