Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The set pieces seen in the lab scene were originally from the Van Helsing film.
- John Murdy had made a cameo as the Frankenstein Monster's shadow in the attraction.
- Chris & Murdy both had cameos as shadows of zombies in one scene of the attraction.
- The Psycho section started with Mother Bates's Fruit Cellar which had a bunch of taxidermy animals, many of which were decommissioned animatronics from the queue line of the old ET ride.
- Chucky’s Workshop had a bunch of inside jokes. The design team figured since Charles Lee Ray was stuck in the body of a doll, he’d take out his anger on other dolls. Famous ventriloquist dummies like Charlie McCarthy, Howdy Doody, and Mortimer Snerd appeared in this section.
- The Mummy section featured some authentic movie artifacts from The Mummy films, including the medallion from The Scorpion King which was later repurposed for The Collection Room scene in the Universal Monsters: Music by Slash maze.
- The actual Masque of the Red Death outfit worn by Lon Chaney Sr. was featured in the attraction alongside the mask.
