A picture of a tree in the American Gothic scarezone
Trees are scareactors dressed up to look like a tree. They first appeared in the Halloween Horror Nights: Reflections of Fear scarezone, American Gothic. They were called Peg Stiltwalkers in that scarezone. The Peg Stiltwalkers also appeared in the scarezones HHN: 20 Years of Fear and Evil's Roots.
Another version of The Tree appeared uring Halloween Horror Nights 21, in H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: Holidays of Horror. It appeared in the Arbor Day scene. The Tree in that house was not a stiltwalker and they held a chainsaw.
