Toy Hell: Nightmare in the Scream Factory was one of the three haunted houses that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights VI. It was located in Nazarman's.

History and Location[]

Like the previous three years, Universal decided to put a haunted house behind the building facades in the New York area of the park (called The Nazarman's area) in 1996. Three years earlier, Universal built structures and alleys behind these facades, specifically to hold Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses. This house would be set in a toy factory and would feature various evil toys made from human body parts.

Description[]

Explore an abandoned toy factory and quickly learn the ancient, terrifying secret held within... the toys are alive and in no mood for company.

Story[]

(From here)

This house was set in a toy factory in New York which was abandoned due to the toys being possessed. The toy maker, Old Man Nazarman, would use real life body parts to make his toys come to life. Fifty years later, guests would explore the abandoned warehouse. Guests would encounter Old Man Nazarman, who had a habit of capturing guests and turning them into toys.

Experience[]

According to the map, guests seemed to enter this house at the entrance to Sting Alley (across the street from the Kongfrontation ride). Next to the entrance to that house was a boarded up wall with a glowing red light within it.

Little is known about the contents of this house, but a leaked concept page reveals that there was a "Cobbling Room", in which the guests would hear a surgeon's saw cutting through bones and the screams of the person it was used on. The room was filled with bloody human and toy parts as well as buzz-saws and other, similar equipment. A mutilated corpse hung across one wall, and in a corner a demonic clown was chopping up a hapless victim.

At this point, a strobe light would blind the guests and a bloody, shrieking creature would burst out of the corpse as they moved on. They would see a meat grinder painted as a clown car with the remains of another victim coming out of it as they continued to the next room. In one room, a scareactor hid under a pile of toys. The house allegedly had very low lighting. Another room featured a doll that would distract guests before a giant metal robot would jump out to the left. Old Man Nazarman would pop out himself a couple of times near the end as a loud siren noise played.

Trivia[]

  • The name of the toy maker, Old Man Nazarman, came from the name of one of the shops this house was built behind.
