Description[]

The Walking Dead is back, and with more dead than ever before in an all-new, terrifyingly apocalyptic maze based on Season 4 of the hit AMC series. Lying among the prison debris are a pile of half-eaten rats, a blood-soaked baby car seat and the severed head of a grey-haired man with a pony tail. The fences of the West Georgia Correctional Facility, which had once provided security from the zombie virus, have been destroyed. There’s no choice but to take to the road in search of the newly publicized safe haven: Terminus. On your journey escape a gauntlet of burned walkers, a dark tunnel of terror, and more biting horrors! A nightmarish landscape of horrors awaits... until you reach the end of the line!

Experience[]

Facade[]

The Facade was the West Georgia Correctional Facility with the Guard Tower with Red Lighting and Smoke coming out of it. Guests go down a Hallway of Fences before coming across a Tank that's crashed through the Fence and 2 Walkers that would attack guests before they enter the Maze.

Haunted Maze[]

Guests enter the Facility and see inside a Cell on the right a Body. Guests then go down a Hallway and enter a Room where a Walker pops out from the right and a Person cut in Half is becoming a Infected Walker.

Guests then enter Cellblock D where a Walker pops out from the Left from behind a Open Cell Door. Guests turn a Corner and see Bodies along the Stairs. Guests are then attacked by another Walker from behind a Door before exiting the Scene.

Guests then enter a Empty Room before going down a Hallway where a Walker pops out from the left and on the right is the Static Figures of 2 Burnt Bodies.

Guests exit the Facility and see a Sign on a Barrel promising Sanctuary. Guests are then attacked by a Walker from inside a Tent. Guests then enter the Facade of the Big Spot Store.

Inside the Big Spot Store was a Hanging Static Figure of a Walker where guests would go down a Hallway of Shelves as 3 Walkers roam the scene attacking guests.

Guests then enter a Forest Scene where the Moss Walker is reaching out for guests trapped underneath a Tree. Guests see a sign promising Sanctuary at Terminus. Guests go down a Hallway where a Walker pops out from a Boo Hole on the right which he then can pop out again from another side.

Guests then see a Sign for the Funeral Home which a Walker in front of Guests runs towards them. Guests enter the Morgue and see a Walker pops out from the left behind a Curtain.

Guests then enter the Outside of the Tunnels where a Walker from out in front runs towards guests. A Walker pretending to be fake on the right side of the Facade of the Tunnels pops out at guests.

Guests enter the Tunnels and see a Car crashed into it along with a Writing saying "Glenn Go to Terminus" to where guests see Walkers inside of Rocks with Static Figures of Walkers and 3 of them being real and popping out at guests. A Walker pops out at guests from the right before they exit the Scene.

Guests go down a Hallway and then are attacked by a Zombie Horde Cart before exiting the Maze.

Trivia[]

  • Dave Chapelle randomly showed up out of nowhere to talk to Murdy in front of this Maze to which Murdy took him on a Private Tour of the Maze. [1].
  • By the 3rd Walking Dead maze, the look of The Walkers was getting more extreme...the burned walkers, the mud walkers, the moss walker, etc. [2].
  • This was the 3rd of the Walking Dead mazes they created for the event. The Facade was again the prison, but this time it had a more lived in look...along with a giant tank. [3].
  • The Tank Outside was from Fast & Furious 6. [4].
  • As guests are coming into the Prison, they're being attacked by the infected walkers before you ever get inside the maze. [5].
  • For the Burnt Corpses Scene, Murdy said "I consulted Greg Nicotero on these bodies specifically and his direction to us was 'It should look like a hot dog that was left on the grill for four hours.’" [6].
  • The Car in the Tunnel Scene is Matt Damon's car from the first Bourne film. [7].
  • Murdy's favorite part of “End of the Line” was the caved in tunnel with the walkers trapped in the boulders. [8].
  • The Zombie Horde Cart was reused from The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven.
