Terror Tram: The Director's Cut (2006) |
The Terror Tram was the only attraction that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights 1986. The Terror Tram returned six years later during Halloween Horror Nights 1992 (Hollywood). It was a nightime version of the Universal Backlot Tour. The ride had many scareactors jumping at the tram from the shadows. It was located in the Backlot.
The 1986 Tragedy[]
During one night in 1986, one of the scareactors got a little over-enthusiastic in his performance and fell between two of the tram cars, and was crushed to death. Universal would not have a Halloween event for over six years afterward because of this. They also discontinued the scaraector "attacks" on moving trams entirely after this.
Description (1992)[]
A bone-chilling, behind-the-screams ride full of gruesome surprises.
A bone-chilling ride with so many gruesome surprises, even Chucky would get a fright! (Event Guide)
