The Purge: Dangerous Waters was one of the two shows that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2023 (Hollywood). It was located in the Waterworld Stage. The show would return the following during Halloween Horror Nights 2024 (Hollywood)
Description[]
A politician escapes to an island to avoid The Purge. When The Purgers find them, it ignites a fiery EDM shows as they fight to survive.

The show begins with an intro with a light show and speech by a rebellious character speaking of what shall be done with the Purge and that it will be placed at an end tonight. The lights turn on as a sound of code activation can be heard followed by a door opening.
A group of people and security enter the dock, one of the security members Dickie addresses his fellow team Alex and Jose to do a perimeter check of the area as they are set to protect the Senator of the New Founding Fathers who impressed with the area and asks Dickie where the location of the safe house, Dickie tells him that he had not told anyone not even his wife and team of the secured location, he informs him that the safe house is upstairs third level of the tower and where a hatch can be found loaded with specific equipment that the leader wants as he enjoys watching the Purge that will take place all over the Los Angeles area and seeing Purgers destroying each other and wreaking havoc.
The Senator of the New Founding Fathers happy to be in this secured location is informed by his assistant of his post-purge agenda addressing his new role as New Founding Father of America in a press conference to which he responds that many love him and love the purge, she would show him a statement that he would read to which considers perfect as always coming from her and tells her that she is like the daughter he never had being in the right places at the right time for him.
The Emergency Broadcast System announcing the initiation of the 2023 Purge of the begins as everyone listens on. Dickie, The Senator of the New Founding Fathers along with his assistants stand with their hands over their hearts, the sirens begin to blare as the Senator begins to get giddy over the anarchy will transpire in the LA area.
One of the assistants notices and asks Dickie if the incoming helicopter belongs to them as everyone is puzzled, the Senator realizes that the helicopter is signaling as the Senator tells Dickie to let them know that they know him, one of his assistants advises to come down from the front of the dock to which he tells her not to worry to smile more as it would make her a lot prettier, Nicky comes up to him and advises him to come down as he grabs at him to which he agrees and gets done as the helicopter is being heard getting closer.
A spotlight flashes on moving about the dock, as projections of different Purge-inspired graffiti begins appear on the wall behind the towers, Dickie tasks his security team to prepare to defend, gunfire begins to be heard as sparks fly on one of the towers along with bursts explode on the dock, the senator and assistant and Dickie trying to avoid being hit. The far left side of the dock a fire can be seen growing as Dickie advises the leader and his assistant to quickly move to the ladder and up tower as an explosion on the far left side reveals an opening where a Purgers on a jetsk comes flying out of open holes of both sides of the tower speeding in the water, Dickie advises his team to lock the gate of the dockyard so no more purgers make their way in, one of the purgers hop onto the dock and begins to fight with Dickie trading punches till Dickie grabs a hold of the purger by the throat and slams his head into his knee breaking his leg while advising Jackie to infiltrate the control panel and keep the doors of the dockyard shut, he disposes the body of the purger into the water.
Dickie avoiding another set of gunfire he walks toward the front of the dock and hiding behind some crates as on the right side of the dock enters some of boats with some purgers readying to annihilate anything that moves in their sight. The first boat with a purger holding a grenade launcher shooting rounds and moving around the water as Dickie asks for everyone to reach his location of the dock. One of the security members Alex was on the far right tower trying to hide only to be seen by a spotlight as a grenade launcher purge shoots a grenade in his direction and blows him up setting him on fire as he dives into the water.
Dickie on the dock as he tries to back away from a purger with a flame thrower begins to hear punching as one of his other security member Jose flies into the water trying to swim away from helicopter gunfire, in the background, a white flag reading "Who Dies Tonight?" is placed, the purgers have infiltrated the area completely and have the leader, his assistants and the remaining security team as they set off an explosion above the sign revealing the leader of the purgers making her way down to docks and rendezvous with her team, she apologizes for crashing the party for them but has a serious agenda as she realizes that the senator is missing and begins to ask the others where his whereabouts is, she asks Dickie as he's being choked by one of her purgers he doesn't comply to which turns to Jackie and praises her ring on her finger, she asks for her hand to place on the box in front of her, she asks Dickie one more time where the Senator to which he lies and the Purge leader slams her base-bat into Jackie's hand as blood spews and she begins to cry in pain, Dickie in stunned behind her witnessing.
The purge leader begins to talk about what she had done is a terrible experience to witness but its no different from what she and her sister had witness when they had seen their parents murdered during the purge, she tells them that they're going to hate what she does next as she tells her purger to place Jackie's head down on the box as Jackie begins to plead, the purge leader sets herself to swing only to be stopped by Dickie’s compliance in telling where the senator is. Dickie tells her he would not tell her anything as he elbows the purger choking him and frees himself taking him out and begins to fight with The Purge leader as Jackie uses the distraction to escape out of clutches of the Purge that had her captive and begins to fight back also.
Jackie, Dickie and the other assistant manage to get away from the Purgers and try to seek refuge somewhere in the tower as they climb up the ladder as the Purge Leader demands her remaining purgers to go after them. The survivors make it to the top as Jackie begins to fight a purger on the tower meanwhile another purger with a shotgun tries to stalk only to be attacked from behind by Dickie who was hiding and smashes the purgers head into a cage, Nicky urges Jackie to try and find a way to flank the purgers as he tries to warn Jose on the other dock to look behind him as a purger attacks him, Jose quickly grabs the weapon out of the purgers hand and starts to beat them down, a shot ricochets next to them as he dodges and hides for cover.
Dickie meanwhile hanging onto the cage from the tower and moves toward a tower across dodging bullets as he defends himself, he reaches the tower as he sets the purger on fire who falls screaming into the water while the purge leader and another purger watch from the dock below, the purge leader angered after losing another member of his clan, Dickie swings to the far left dock to regroup with Jose while dodging bullet fire as he reaches the tower and makes his way where to where Daniel who's hiding among barrels is then killed as The Purge leader signals to one of her purgers blasting him with grenade blast and setting him on fire with Nicky too late to save his partner as he jumps down to seek cover while a purger attacks Jose with a lead pipe as he falls into the water.
Jackie calls out to Dickie as he steals one of the jet-skis and tells her that he is on his way to her. A light show ensues as a purger on a jetski tries to apprehend Dickie, Dickie lands on the dock and makes his way towards The Purge Leader and proceeds to fight her only for her to swing at him with her bat as he grabbed from behind by her remaining purgers, meanwhile Jackie still above the tower fights off two purgers, knocking one over the edge and into the water into an fiery explosion while the other trailing her from behind apprehends her meanwhile down below, The Purger and remaining battle against Dickie and Jose who survived from his wounds on the dock, Nicky bludgeons a purger to a bloody pulp as they fall into the water, he then punches the Purge Leader and then grabbing the other purger and breaking their neck and bashing the lead pipe on their back as they fall into the water. The Purge Leader swings her bat to the side of Dickie and as he falls to his knees she slams the bat across the back of his head knocking him down.
The Purge Leader having enough with the games pulls out a knife and as she chokes and holds it against Dickie’s neck and saying she would give him one last chance to reveal where the Senator is or she would have his wife killed, Dickie tells her that the Senator pays him to protect him to which The Purge Leader mentions where does his wife fit in the plan, on the other side of the tower, the purger smacks Jackie as she begs and pleads to her husband not to let them kill her, Dickie gives up and tells The Purge Leader that the Senator is hiding in the safe room above the tower, she lets him go but tells him to say goodbye to his wife, as the purger lets go of Jackie who falls off the bridge and into a flaming explosion as the Purger shots one more shot to make sure she met her fate. Dickie cries out in anger and yelling at The Purge Leader that she lied, she grabs him and slices his throat as he falls bleeding into the water, she salutes him.
The Purge Leader demands for her remaining purge clan to find the safe room and the senator. The Senator appears ontop of the middle tower as she shoots at The Purge Leader down below but misses his shots. He tries to make a deal with the purgers but it falls on deaf ears, the Senator's assistant appears next to him as he fears for his life and wanting to get out of this mess, he begs for his assistant to find a way out as she goes to figure out a solution to the task at hand. The Senator continues his failed attempts at trying to take down some of the purgers around the docks.
The Purge Leader tells The Senator that its too late to run and to her remaining purgers that its time to cleanse the world of him. She swears that tonight one of the new founding fathers will suffer as they and many others have suffered. A few of the purgers have made it up the top of the tower with the Senator pushing him closer and closer to edge and he begs and pleads, behind the purgers Beth appears with a flamethrower, The Senator feeling relieved asks her to light the purgers up only to realize as Beth walks pass both of the purgers towards the Senator, Beth tells the Senator that every single person involved in this bloodbath has lost someone to the Purge, Beth confesses that she and The Purge Leader are sisters who were the ones that lost their parents to the purge, Beth has the senator at the edge of the bridge of the tower where he pleads that he could fix what is happening, asking Beth to name her price to which laughs and responses with the price being his life, he asks them if this was all about revenge to which the Purge Leader responds that this was about justice and shouts for her sister to light the Senator to which Beth sets the Senator on fire as he struggles and she shoots him again with another blast of fire as he heads towards the edge, he straighten himself as he puts his hand over his heart and falls forward into the water below as the Beth and her sister and the other Purgers begin to cheer and celebrate as flames and fireworks go off and the purgers dancing on the dock.
