The Punisher is an anti-hero that appears in the Marvel Universe. The Caretaker infected him with his darkness and he helped The Caretaker and Carnage kill all the Marvel heroes. He appeared during Halloween Horror Nights: Islands of Fear in the haunted house, Maximum Carnage.
The Punisher was found in the outside portion of the haunted house by the exit, on a raised platform, wielding a flamethrower and/or a heavy laser gun, firing on guests.
Backstory[]
Frank Castle is an Italian-American vigilante who employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his campaign against crime.
Driven by the deaths of his wife and two children who were killed by the mob for witnessing a killing in New York City's Central Park, the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals and employs the use of various firearms. His family's killers were the first to be slain by the Punisher, and has ruthlessly hunted down criminals ever since.
A war veteran and a United States Marine Corps Scout Sniper, Castle is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, guerrilla warfare, and marksmanship. He is brutal, relentless, and utterly uncompromising in his crusade. The truth is, Castle is almost certainly psychotic, barely any better than the monsters he hunts.
He is Judge, Jury, and Executioner whose only passion is finding and executing criminals in the most brutal (and sometimes imaginative) ways possible, and is estimated to have killed about four thousand criminals. He uses machine guns, explosives, a certain amount of martial arts, knives, and on occasion, wildlife (most notably, the time that he punched a polar bear in the face to get it riled enough to eat some Mafia hitmen). He can be very, very sadistic. He tends not to get on with Marvel's actual superheroes, often getting in destructive battles with them; He once shot Wolverine in the groin and then proceeded to run him over with a steamroller.
Storyline[]
While normally he is a anti-hero; a little push by being infected by Albert Caine’s darkness turned him outright evil. He joined Carnage’s league of villains and tried to shoot civilians who entered Carnage’s lair.
