Queue and Facade[]
Guests would enter the queue for the house to the left of the Coke Freestyle station near the Men in Black bathrooms. They would go down a long path, which would take them to the house sign where the standby and Express queues would split off. Both queues undergo many switchbacks as they approach the Second Parade Warehouse, eventually leading guests to the pavilion where the excess parade floats are stored.
Going would round a corner to face the Second Parade Warehouse and saw a giant vinyl of the house logo painted on the building. The Last of Us theme as well as other music from the soundtrack would also be playing in the queue of the house. Occasionally, a voice on a megaphone would play warning guests about the perils of the house they are entering. Guests would go through a door in the building and enter the house.
Haunted House[]
When guests entered the house, they would take a right into a small corridor with Fedra Stages of Infection posters and graffiti on the wall that read "Kill for Freedom". Taking a left, guests would find themselves inside a hardware shop that’s been driven into by Joel's truck. Guests move forward as a Hunter attacks them on their right on the side of the crashed truck. Continuing further, they were attacked on their left by another Hunter. Passing by the truck, guests would find Joel who was hiding with a piece of wood yelling for Ellie to stay down as guests exited the room on his left.
The next room had a prop body lying on a table and moving up and down asking for help as a Stalker popped on the right of guests behind some lockers. Exiting the room, guests would pass by one of the workbenches from the video game on their right.
Guests then found themselves outside. where a pile of burning bones could be seen on the floor. They were quickly attacked by a Runner on the right, and another one could be standing but not moving as they made a left around a corner to the next room.
After that, guests entered a dark flickering hallway, where another Runner would attack from the right. Upon entering the next room, guests would find themselves in a bathroom and see silhouettes of Joel and Ellie putting on gas masks. Spores would rain down from the ceiling onto guests, and they smelled mushroom, potentially implying that they may be infected. One of the stalls contained a dead body lying on one of the toilet seats. As they moved forward, guests were attacked by a Stalker on their left before exiting the room.
The next scene featured a white curtain with a projection of Runner tearing into a survivor and eating him. As guests made a right around the corner, a Stalker popped out of a hole in the wall, reaching out at guests as they exited the room.
Following that scene, guests would enter a room with a generator on their left. As they kept moving forward, they would find themselves in a hallway whose walls were covered with fungi. SIF hung from the ceiling, touching guests’ faces and making them itch. Joel could be heard warning Ellie about Clickers as the sounds of Clickers could be heard. Entering the next hallway, guests were startled by a Clicker whose head popped out of a covered hole in the wall on their right. Guests would also be attacked by another Clicker on the left as they exited the room.
Finding their way back outside, guests would see Ellie on a platform shooting an unseen Infected with a rifle, offering to cover their escape. Guests continued back out onto the street and were attacked by a runner with a weapon. Moving right past a parked car, guests would enter another alleyway where a Hunter wielding a pipe tried to attack guests through a hole in a brick wall on their right.
Next, guests found themselves outside the entrance to the sewer, where they were attacked by two Stalkers, one on each side. Inside the sewer, guests would be attacked by a Clicker on their left. They would also find the body of Ish and his family with a graffiti on the floor that says "They Didn't Suffer". As guests made a right, they were attacked by a Clicker on their right. Before they exited the sewer, guests would encounter a Bloater is killing a survivor and ripping their head open. They would turn to lunge at guests as they moved forward.
Entering a burning building, guests could see a projection of a horde of Clickers burning to death above them. Continuing through the burning building, guests could hear the sound of Molotov cocktails being thrown, and they would be attacked by two burning Clickers on either side of the exit doorway.
Guests would then find themselves in a neighborhood area surrounded by houses. As soon as guests entered, a Stalker would attack on the right-hand side from behind a wall. A Bloater would also jump out next to a house on their right. Joel would shoot at the Bloater with a pistol from the window of the second floor of an adjacent house.
The last room of the house featured the static figures of Joel and Ellie with their backs to guests. Joel tells Ellie that its time that they left this city. Before guests exited the house, they would be attacked one last time by a Clicker on their right.

Trivia[]
- This marks the first time since Welcome to Silent Hill (Orlando) during Halloween Horror Nights 22 & Resident Evil: Escape from Raccoon City during Halloween Horror Nights 23 that Halloween Horror Nights has tackled a video game property at the event.
- In the announcement trailer for the haunted house, there was a window shot that is a reference to the window shot from the video game menu.
- In the announcement trailer and event trailer the character of Jordan can be seen playing The Last of Us Game and immediately teleported into an apocalyptic setting of her room where she would encounter a Clicker, in the event trailer she would teleported into a molded corridor where she would be attacked by clickers.
- The house only followed the Pittsburgh section of Part 1 and guests followed Joel and Ellie throughout the house.
- Neil Druckmann would confirm that Ashley Johnson & Troy Baker would reprise their roles of Joel and Ellie as they would re-record their lines from the video games for both Orlando and Hollywoods' house.
- According to Lora Sauls, Neil Druckmann had asked if the team would actually into the setting of Pittsburgh as one of the main parts of the house since it was learned that there were many accolades made towards that part of the game online.
- The weapons table that is used in the game could be seen in the second scene of the house next to it, Joel's backpack and sweatshirt can be seen next to it.
- Guests could find various pickups from the game scattered around the house, including ammo boxes (each with their respective type’s label), notes, Firefly dog tags, and crafting supplies.
- Although a side story in the game and they're not seen in the game aside from notes found throughout, the discovery of Ish and his family's fate can be seen in the house as well as the note that he had written, the note is written as exactly as it is in the game. "I'm gone for a few months and the world doesn't waste any time going to shit. Everywhere you turn there're infected — and non-infected — trying to kill you. Mankind is back to the food chain, baby! I'm kind of shocked I've survived this long. These sewers seem pretty safe. Unlimited exits/entrances make it easier to defend, and if anyone gets in here, I can lose them in the maze. I might not be tough, but I am quick. Maybe I just need to bide my time down here until it all gets sorted up there. I think I'll become a sewer mole-man for a while. Wish me luck. — Ish, Ish would take his and his family's life after the clickers had evaded their safe haven in the sewers.
- In the neighborhood area scene, above the front of door of the house is the number 32 as a reference to the 32nd year of the event.
- This year, the Art and Design team would hide frogs in each of the houses as an Easter egg for fans to discover. This house’s frog could be seen sitting on a a gas drum during Ellie's scene, donning mushrooms as a reference to the clickers.
- The police car seen in the house is the very same car that is used in the Resident Evil: Escape from Raccoon City haunted house during Halloween Horror Nights 23 and the PsychoScareapy: Unleashed scarezone during Halloween Horror Nights 25.
- In the spores bathroom scene of the house a dead body can be seen wearing a firefly pedant laying by a sink.
- Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Bottles can be seen in the house as they're used to create molotovs to use in the game to defend against Clickers and other enemies.
- This house would feature the Gromoll scare used for the Bloater, a scare dedicated to former Universal A&D Kim Gromoll who had created the effect during his tenure with the event.
