The Harvest was one of the five scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 28. It was located in The Plaza of the Stars.
History and Location[]
On June 7th, 2018, Universal announced that a scarezone based on an old, haunted farm would be coming to their Halloween Horror Nights event that year. The scarezone would feature signs and props from the five IP houses featured at the event: Stranger Things, Poltergeist, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Trick 'r Treat, and The Horrors of Blumhouse.
It would be located in an area called Plaza of the Stars. The area is a street located in front of the entrance of the park.
Description[]
An old barn holds horrors from each house. Foul creatures lurk between the hay bales, ready for a harvest of blood and screams.
An old barn is the setting of every kind of horror, its walls decorated with objects from each house. Pose at this foreboding photo op along the Avenue of the Stars, but be wary. This barn is not as abandoned as it seems. Foul creatures lurk between the hay bales, ready for a harvest of flesh. Will you survive the reaping?
Decoration[]
The zone was consisted of five different pillars on either side of the zone with themed items to each ips and the ips logos above each one of them front to back. Stranger Things (Orlando 2018) pillar would feature Will Byer's bike alongside his Castle Byers and behind it the Hawkins National Laboratory sign. Trick 'r Treat (Haunted House Orlando) pillar featured a piece of the back of a bus referencing the School Bus Massacre incident and Halloween pumpkin that was seen in the Mr. Kreeg's room when he was being taunted by Sam. The Horrors of Blumhouse (Orlando 2018) pillar featured The Babyface Killer's mask, road light up sign, Bayfield Flag featuring the Baby Mascot referencing Happy Death Day (film) and some propaganda posters referencing The First Purge (film), Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (Orlando) pillar featured couple of light up pumpkins, a mailbox with skull on it referencing the opening scene of the film's transition shots along with part of a Ridgemont Sanitarium banner on the bottom and next to it a part of a Haddonfield next exit sign. Poltergeist featured a door with the name of the film on it underneath it was the 80s static tv with the channel displayed as 237 as a reference to The Shining, next to it was some hay and the Clown Doll.

- Blake Braswell has said about this zone that it is about an old decrepit barn and inside are artifacts from the various IPs that took place that year, but that is not all that is inside. Inside are creatures made of dust, straw, hay, and animal bones, and they are on the hunt for you.
- One of the scarecrow masks is a repurposed zombie mask is from Dead Exposure: Patient Zero haunted house from that that year.
- A Ghostface mask was repurposed as one of the scarecrow masks in this zone.
- One of the scarecrow masks is a Lucio Fulci's Zombie Trick Or Treat Studios mask altered.
