Terror Underground: Transit to Torment was one of the three haunted houses that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights V. It was located in Nazarman's.
History and Location[]
After two previous years of placing haunted houses behind the structures built behind the building facades in the New York area of the park (called The Nazarman's area), Universal decided it would be a good idea to put another haunted house in the location for their 1995 event. However, this house would have a completely different theme from the previous two houses in this location, which had cannibalism and butchering themes. This house would instead take place in an abandoned New York Subway infested with Mutants and C.H.U.Ds.

The map seemingly implies that guests entered this house through the entrance to Sting Alley (across the street from Kongfrontation). It has been reported that the house's environment consisted of many boarded-up areas where bloodied and beaten scareactors, based on the urban legends about people born and raised in the tunnels, would pop through, as well as hanging mesh nets and a brown and grey color scheme. The house was also reportedly very dark and had Mole People and CHUDs featured inside at some point. Some rooms may have contained strobe lighting. Also, there was a room featuring toxic waste, and a scene labeled "tool room". At the end of the house, there were scareactors skating on inlines.
There were also vibrating floors, a man trapped near an exploding transformer, and a girl who brands herself with a hot branding iron.
