Stranger Things 4 (Orlando) was one of the ten haunted houses that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 32. It was located in Soundstage 23 along with Blood Moon: Dark Offerings.
History & Location[]
On July 13th, 2023, Universal Orlando Resort announced that Netflix's Stranger Things would be coming to both coasts. This house would only be centered around Season 4 of the series. The last time the property would be featured at the event was during 2019, which featured a house centered around seasons 2 and 3 of the show.
The house would be one of two located in Soundstage 23, the other being Blood Moon: Dark Offerings. Soundstage 23 is one of the larger soundstage facilities designed to be used as filming locations for movies and television shows.
The codename for the haunted house was Kumquat because its a strange name for a fruit.
Description[]
Join the Fight Against Vecna. Don’t let Vecna get in your mind as you take on the scariest season of Stranger Things yet. Try to resist his gruesome curse before the ultimate showdown in his blood-red Mind Lair.
Season 4 of Netflix’s original series “Stranger Things” is brought to life in a terrifying all-new haunted house that transports guests to Hawkins, Indiana where they will be immersed in the eerie Upside Down for a heart-pounding experience while traveling through iconic scenes. Guests will confront their deepest fears and come face to face with otherworldly creatures like demobats, and even Vecna himself within his blood-red Mind Lair in a race against the clock to escape and save mankind from his deadly curse.

Experience[]
Queue and Facade[]
Guests entered the line through the Jimmy Fallon ride queue. Guests would walk down the hallway with the history of the NBC logo before reaching the area where the regular and express lines split. Guests would then make their way to the left side of Soundstage 24 where the queue would loop a few times. They would then turn left to go behind Soundstage 23. The queue loops one last time as guests enter the soundstage from the back.
Entering the soundstage, guests would find themselves outside of Eddie's Trailer. Dustin could be heard describing Vecna as the Stranger Things theme played in the background. As they approached the entrance to the trailer, guests would see a window with the silhouette of Chrissy Cunningham slowly being levitated into the air, before being violently forced upwards into the ceiling.
Haunted House[]
Inside the trailer, Eddie would pop out immediately on the left asking Chrissy to wake up and screaming. On the right, Chrissy could be seen suspended in the air with her limbs contorted. Guests then exit the trailer.
Next, guests entered the backyard of Max's Trailer in the Forest Hills Trailer Park and were startled by Max Mayfield, who popped out on the right screaming. In front of guests Vecna made his first appearance, jumping out from behind sheets hanging on a clothesline. Continuing on, guests found themselves in a forest representing Fred Benson's death scene where they encountered a coffin with a grandfather clock lying on it. An Undead Mourner jumped out behind it accusing guests of murder.
Shortly after, guests were transported to a short hallway representing the Nina Project Lab, where they could see a static figure of Eleven suspended in a tank surrounded by security camera screens. As guests are transported back in time to Hawkins National Laboratory, Henry Creel/001 jumps out staring them down on the right. Entering the Rainbow Room, guests walk right in between Eleven and Henry Creel as Eleven opens a portal to the Upside Down in his chest, which created a massive red fog cloud. Vecna then attacked mid-transformation on the right.
After that, guests entered a transition hallway with pages featuring drawings of the Creel House strewn along the walls. This led into Vecna's Mind Lair, where they could see pieces of the Creel House scattered around including the iconic staircase. Chrissy Cunningham and Fred Benson's corpses could be seen mangled as well within some vines. Vecna attacked from the left as guests could hear "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush playing softly in the distance. A projection could be seen at the end of the room of a portal to the normal world where Max could be seen floating above Dustin, Lucas, and Steve. Vecna attacked once more on the right.
Moving on, guests re-entered Eddie's Trailer in the Upside Down. Steve jumped out on the left and a hole in the ceiling showed a static figure of Dustin on the other side of a portal. As guests exited the trailer, they encounter Vecna once again before entering the bathroom of The Creel House. In the bathroom, guests could see a young Henry Creel with spiders crawling on his hand.
Then, guests would enter The Upside Down once again where Eddie and Dustin could be seen battling a hoard of Demobats on top of Eddie's Trailer with "Master of Puppets" by Metallica playing loudly. Guests would then enter a corridor where the silhouettes of Demobats could be seen trying to break through the door. Eddie then jumped out on the left, wrestling with a Demobat. On the right, guests could also see another Demobat banging against a small window.
Guests would then enter the attic of the Creel House, where a static figure of Max could be seen floating on the right. Lucas would pop out next to her screaming her name. On the opposite side, Jason would jump out, ushering guests into the next room. The next room featured a huge static figure of Vecna hanging from vines in the Upside-Down version of the Creel attic. Robin would jump out holding a flaming bottle on the left.
Entering the final hallway of the house, guests would see the corpse of Jason split in half on the floor, with a portal being opened underneath him. The last hallway represents a hybrid of The Upside Down and Vecna's Mind Lair, showing how the Upside Down is spilling into the real world. The grandfather clock could be seen and a Demogorgon would pop out on the right. Vecna and Eleven would then jump out from opposite sides later in the room, battling each other. Finally, as guests exited the house, one more Demogorgon would attack from the left.

- In the announcement video and event trailer, a Hellfire Club paper can be seen on the board behind Sofia referencing the club of the same name from the show and could also been seen in the same predicament as many of the victims that fall to Vecna.
- Artist Kyle Lambert revealed that he had created the key art for both coasts.
- Guests witnessed Vecna successfully opening the gate to the Upside Down.
- Univeral partnered with Netflix in order to make the experience as authentic as possible.
- The creative team mentioned that in this house guests "mind jump" between characters. For example, Max being terrorized by Vecna, Eleven's flashbacks in the lab, and Nancy's visions of Vecna's backstory are all represented.
- In Eddie Munson's trailer on the left in his room under some clothes a Michael Myers mask can be seen that he wears in one of the shows' episodes.
- Many of trees in the Outside of Max's trailer scene are from A Day In The Park with Barney queue.
- This house focuses on Vecna and the rest of the characters from Hawkins, Indiana. Characters like California Crew, Hopper, and Russia are not represented. However, a Demogorgon can be seen near the end of the house.
