Sprung Tent 1

Sprung Tents 1 and 2, located behind The Simpsons Ride (top left) and Men In Black (top right).

Sprung Tent 1 is the first of the two hurricane-proof Sprung Tents set up behind World Expo in Universal Studios Florida. Universal built these tents specifically to hold haunted houses during Halloween Horror Nights.

This house location was first used during Halloween Horror Nights: Sweet 16. The entrance to the Sprung Tent 1 haunted houses was originally located near the Back to the Future Ride during 2006, but moved to the Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone from 2007-2016. Since 2017, the entrance to the haunted houses featured in this tent moved to the left of the Coca-Cola station outside of the Men in Black ride. For the 2024 event, the house entrance was moved in between The Simpsons Ride and the Kwik-E-Mart.
