Slimer is a ghost that appeared in the Ghostbusters film. He also appeared as a scareactor in the Ghostbusters (Orlando) haunted house during Halloween Horror Nights 29 and Ghostbusters (Hollywood) during Halloween Horror Nights 2019 (Hollywood).
He would return as a scareactor that appeared in the Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Orlando) haunted house during Halloween Horror Nights 33 and Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Hollywood) haunted house during Halloween Horror Nights 2024 (Hollywood).
Backstory[]
Slimer is a Class V Full-Roaming Vapor. Sometimes called "Onionhead" or simply "the Mean Green Ghost," Ray purportedly named this creature "Slimer" specifically to annoy Peter Venkman (who still carries a long-standing distrust of the creature). Regardless of what he's called, this focused, non-terminal repeating phantasm personifies gluttony and is drawn to anything edible. While this Classic V, Full Roaming Vapor isn't especially malicious, you don't want to be between him and a snack.
