Shadows from the Past was the only unofficial scarezone that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights: Ripped from the Silver Screen. It was created for the final weekend of the event. The scarezone was meant to serve as a preview of Halloween Horror Nights: Twenty Years of Fear in 2010, which was the event's 20th anniversary. It was located in Sting Alley.
History and Location[]
In 2009, Universal decided to have an unofficial scarezone featured only during the final weekend of the event. The scarezone would receive the name, Shadows from the Past, and serve as a teaser to next years event, Halloween Horror Nights: Twenty Years of Fear. The scarezone would feature many Halloween Horror Nights icons, as well as Cindy's first appearance as a scareactor.
The scarezone would be located in a small alleyway located in New York called Sting Alley. The alley is very narrow making the scarezone very claustrophobic.
