Scary Tales is an original franchise that is featured during Halloween Horror Nights Orlando, and Halloween Horror Nights Singapore which involves classic fairy tales being made darker and twisted.
Storyline[]
The fairy tales of the Old World (Europe) already had a sizable amount of disquieting qualities to their works, especially those documented by the Brothers Grimm, but they weren’t extremely frightening. However, with the forces of Fear at play, the most frightening aspects of these fairy tales are cranked up to eleven, allowing guests to enter warped versions of such fables, including Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, and many more.
Throughout the years, the twisted versions of the fairy tales from the realm of childhood nostalgia were usually caused by sinister forces such as The Caretaker, Bloody Mary, and the Minister of Evil.

- Once Upon A Nightmare featured music from the Stardust (2007) soundtrack.
- The third and fourth Scary Tales attractions in Orlando are notable for having storylines which explain how the twisted fairy tales became so corrupted thanks to the witchcraft of the villains. The main villain of Once Upon A Nightmare was the Evil Queen. The Wicked Witch of the West was the main villain of the world of Deadly Ever After in which she rules over the Realm of the Fairies.
