- In Orlando, ET from ET: Extra Terrestrial can be seen in the Pyramid room of the ride if you know where to look.
- In Orlando, In the Treasure Room is a Golden Kong statue as a tribute to the former Kongfrontation attraction that was once the previous ride in the soundstage
- In Orlando, The Mummified Crew member that is warning you Imohtep's curse is wearing a King Kong hat from the original attraction.
- In Orlando, On one of the production crates in the Museum of Antiquities queue is a symbol of a front facing King Kong. The same symbol would be found on the Egyptian hieroglyphic's walls in the pyramid among the Scarab Beetles.
- In Orlando, Among the Egyptian hieroglyphics, two warriors could be seen holding swords. Upon further look, both swords look like bananas, a reference to King Kong.

- Orlando's version was originally going to be about Imhotep wreaking havoc in a history museum, but budget cuts resulted in it revolving around a film production instead. The ride's outside facade still reflects the original museum story, interestingly enough.

- Hollywood's version of Revenge of the Mummy has a faster acceleration launch compared to its counter parts in Orlando and Singapore.
- All 3 Versions of Revenge of the Mummy (Singapore, Hollywood, and Orlando) reach a maximum of 45mph.
- Hollywood's version had an original ending in which is different from its current scene. While backwards the ceiling would show Imhotep's face and an eclipse next to his face, while fire comets are flying around the ceiling. He says "An Eclipse, NO!!" while his face disintegrates into the sun. And as you turn to the left to normal position a tomb stone is on fire shooting orange fog and the ride would end.
- Orlando's version opened in May 2004 while Hollywood's version opened in June 2004.
