Point of Evil was one of the four scarezones that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights XIV. It was located in the Port of Entry.
It centered around stilitwalkers terrorizing guests, as the tesla coil rumbled in the center.
History and Location[]
For their 2004 event, Universal decided to have another entry scarezone located in the Port of Entry area of the park. This one would be named Point of Evil instead of Port of Evil like the previous two years and would be heavily themed to electricity.
The scarezone would be located in the Port of Entry, the entrance area to the park that is also between Marvel Super Hero Island and Seuss Landing.
Description[]
Tension, fear and panic explode in bolts of pure hellfire across the night sky.
Over the past 13 years, millions and millions have fallen under its irresistible allure. You've journeyed from near and far, inexplicably drawn by a monstrous dark energy that has been building, swirling into a vicious circle that surrounds the epicenter of fear. And now that power erupts in blinding explosions of electricity that flash across the night sky, pulling all toward the ultimate pinnacle of fascination and horror. Feeding on the fear of Halloween Horror Nights guests past and present, POINT OF EVIL, "reaches" out with long fingers of Hellfire lightning to drain you of the very last drop of courage and strength. See for yourself where the breaking point lies.

In the website, a circular symbol can be found in the patients' boxes. Clicking on the symbol takes you right back to the menu. Clicking on the box with the circular symbol shows the symbol surrounded by the icons for the haunted houses, scarezones and shows.
Experience[]
Many strange, robotlike creatures roamed the streets. Electrical devices were strewn about the streets. A banner hung saying What's your Breaking Point. At the end of the street was this huge device that emits a green laser. Next to it is a huge tesla coil that shoots electricity.

As you enter Halloween Horror Nights, there are attractive women dancing on stages. Creepy music being piped through the entrance to Halloween Horror Nights causes an eerie sense of foreboding and fear. The point of evil is heavily covered in fog, making it hard to find your way through. Black and blue aliens, who are planted behind rocks and trash cans, jump out at you when you least expect it, providing some good scares to get you ready for the evening of horror you are about to experience. There are attractive women walking on stilts in this area of Halloween Horror Nights. They call out to guests in highly magnified voices, and their insults are very amusing. This area had a very neat, creepy, eerie feel to it, and it set the stage for a night of scares and thrills.

We also have a Festival of the Dead Parade, it has returned this year, we have the grand floats and loads and loads of beads but the streets are filled with horrible horrible creatures, you have to be careful because they’re everywhere, they’re everywhere, I can feel them now, I can feel them right behind me and there’s fog and evil everywhere and it’s get in your clothes and gets in your hair, it, it gets all through and IT’S IN MY EYES, IT’S IN MY EYES, *spases and cries* be careful where you go because you might not return *laughs maniacally* and don’t forget the Bill & Ted show, yeah that is your last chance to laugh during this nightmarish evening because you see for thirteen years we have gathered the evil from Halloween Horror Nights, we gather it from you and return it to you, it cannot be contained and tonight! Tonight we turn on the evil, we unleash the fear and it will spread like lightning across Universal Orlando, it is time! Behold, the power of Halloween Horror Nights! NO!
