NightMaze was one of the six scarezones that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights 21. In this dark alley way, figures in black cloaks with hoods covering their faces hid in the darkness and fog scaring guests and constantly changing the walls of the maze. It was located in Shrek Alley.
History and Location[]
In 2011, Universal decided to have a scarezone based on a unique concept. It would feature many black walls creating a maze-like structure. Scareactors dressed in all black would shift the walls of the maze around, disorienting guests.
The scarezone would be located in an area called Shrek Alley, an area of Universal Studios Orlando sandwiched in between the Shrek 4D show and Soundstage 44 (now Transformers: The Ride 3-D). This would be the final scarezone located in this area.

Guests walked through chainlink fences covered with a black tarp while they were surrounded by darkness and came face to face with hooded scareactors.
