Backstory[]
He was a young boy who lived in the town of Hollow Hills and he was bullied by the other kids in the town so much so it affected his personal life as he was growing up in the local theatre owned by his parents, the Tribute Tribune. He would befriend a girl who would join him and work at the theatre, they would be bestest friends. One evening he would discover parents would murdered presumably by a group of people from the town and he never found out who it was but it destroyed him mentally and damaged his reputation, even many in the town believed he was responsible for the death of his parents, many articles to come out about him and the theatre continuing to deteriorate and eventually be shut down. He would then run off into the night with his best friend. He would reappear back in town many decades later in the 50s rebranding himself as Major Sweets with no one noticing who he was alongside his partner in crime now under hew name Miss Treats. He would sponsor the local parade in the town.
On the day of the parade few hours from it, Major Sweets would open his factory for tours for some of the Progress County Schools in an effort to have many of the visiting kids try out "samples" of his latest and greatest candy concoctions that he would then use to possess the children into turning on their chaperones and having many of them help create havoc on the Halloween Parade later that night. The samples would prove a success as Taffy and Miss Treats would kill the chaperones, they would round some of the children and destroy any sign of evidence and would go onto the Parade.
Later that night, Major Sweets would honored the honorary key by the Hollow Hills Mayor to the town during the ceremonious occasion, The Mayor although would discover the sinister act that the Major had brought onto the town as many of the kids would attack him and many of the citizens creating a panic all while Major Sweets danced, laughed and swayed as he had gotten his revenge from all those decades ago.
Trivia[]
- Various props from 2022 have implied Major Sweets to have a history with the recurring Tribute Theater setting of the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store. Newspaper articles dated to 1953 and 1954 make reference to the plot of Sweet Revenge occurring around New York City's Tribute Theater after a mysterious candy-making benefactor sponsored the transformation of the building into a Halloween attraction with an area themed to the town of Hollow Hills.[1]
- The newspaper props also proposed a theory that Major Sweets may actually be the son of the Tribute Theater's previous owners, who disappeared in 1939 before inheriting the theater. After inheriting the theater, this owner was the prime suspect of a series of poisonings and went on the run in 1942 at the age of 27 while being wanted for questioning.
