Killer Klowns From Outer Space was one of the five scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 28. It was located on South Street. The zone featured several of the titular Klowns as well as the Terenzi brothers from the film.

History and Location[edit | edit source]

On June 28th, 2018, Universal announced that a scarezone based on the Killer Klowns From Outer Space movie would be coming to their Halloween Horror Nights event that year.

The scarezone would be the first located on South Street, an area of New York located near The Transformers Ride. This would be the first scarezone in that location. The scarezone would be made into a haunted house a year later. This would also be called Killer Klowns From Outer Space.

An interstellar circus tent has landed on the streets of Universal Studios Florida™. At this circus of fear, the joke's always on you.

An interstellar circus tent has landed and a madcap invasion has begun on the streets of Universal Studios Florida. Step right up to the big top, where the sweet smell of cotton candy delights you. You soon realize this grotesque treat is not spun with sugar but from victims like you. Otherworldly clowns giggle madly as they zap people into cotton candy pods with ray guns and devour every grisly strand. At this circus of fear, the joke’s always on you.

  • Blake Braswell has said that the movie and zone are near and dear to his heart, and the former was the very first horror film that he ever snuck behind his parents and bought with his own money.
  • The Jojo Ice Cream truck can be seen in the zone along with The Terenzi Brothers trying to get away from the Klown and warning guests to stay away.
  • Throughout the night, many projections can be seen on the building walls, many scenes from the film can be seen playing as well as the circus tent landing and shooting off also the shadow puppet show.
