Invasion! was one of the five scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 27. It was located in San Francisco.
History and Location[]
On August 17th, 2017, Universal announced that a scarezone based on a 1950's sci-fi movie would be featured at that years Halloween Horror Nights event.
The scarezone would be the fourth located in the San Francisco area of the park, an area located near the middle of the park themed after the city of San Francisco. This zone was later featured as a "film set" in the Halloween Horror Nights 30 scarezone, Lights Camera Hacktion: Eddie's Revenge.
Description[]
The year is 1955, and a UFO has crashed onto the wharf. Their goal: to conduct experiments upon you to prepare to invade Earth.
Media Description[]
Invasion. Much like the Theme of the years event, which is a party. From a distance it won't look like much. But when you get up close it's already to late, and they have you. Based on that 50's and 60's scifi realm. They took it turned it on its ear and only way Horror Nights can. By making it absolutely terrifying. -A description said by Patrick during the media for Halloween Horror Nights 27.
Experience[]
There was a crashed U.F.O in the streets of San Francisco with a car crashed into it and a fallen over telephone pole. Inside the spaceship, the silhouette of the pilot can be seen. Across from the spaceship, were large sandbags and a military truck. There were three distinct "species" of alien in this scarezone. One is normal sized with a red mas where its mouth and nose should be. The second one is large and muscular, with a big mouth with fangs. The third and final one was tall and skinny. It was dressed in white robes. Some of these aliens carried guns. Also roaming the streets were military personnel that have been "probed". A metal attachment could be seen on some of their faces.

- This was one of Blake Braswell's favorite scarezones to work on from design to story due to his love for science fiction.
- Both the car and truck from this zone would be used in the facades of Slaughter Sinema & Dead Exposure: Patient Zero for Halloween Horror Nights 28.
- Additionally, this zone was featured as a "film set" in the Halloween Horror Nights 30 scarezone, Lights Camera Hacktion: Eddie's Revenge.
- During the duration of the event, each solider that was trying to survive and hide away from the Aliens would each be taken over and turned into a mindless soldier for the Alien regime.
