Hell's Harverst was one of the five scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2018 (Hollywood). It was located outside of the Front Gate.

Description[]

Enter a pagan harvest festival where the dark spirit of Halloween was born! The streets are filled with strange bewitched dolls, brought to life through dark magic. This army of evil dolls are looking for the next victim for their human sacrifice…will it be you?

This scarezone that was inspired by early American Halloween. Murdy always found those 19th century homemade costumes to be especially creepy ^[1].
Their designer Pat Quinn came up with unique names for each character that we stitched into their costume ^[2].
Murdy remembers the first time he tried on one of these bizarre masks (pictured below), he wondered, “Is this too kooky for HHN?” But the scareactors really embraced them and made the characters their own ^[3].
Hells Harvest also featured “The Bonesy Brothers,” a pair of animated talking skeletons voiced by myself and my audio designer. These guys predate my era of HHN, we used to have them at the employee security gate during Halloween pretending to help the guard ^[4].
