Harvest of the Souls was one of the three official scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights: Sweet 16. It was located in Central Park, with some parts spilling out into the little area outside of the Animal Actor's Stage.
History and Location[]
For their 2006 event, Universal would decide to have all of their and scarezones (and haunted houses) be sequels or prequels to landmark houses and scarezones in the past. One of these would be Harvest of the Souls, a sequel to the popular Field of Screams scarezone from 2004.
The scarezone would be located in an area called Central Park, a small wooded area connecting World Expo to Hollywood. There are two paths, one going along the Universal Lagoon and the other going through the trees. The scarezone would be located in the second of these two paths.
The scarezone was very popular and would go on to win the Scarezone of the Year award in 2006.
Description[]
Here creep creatures in search of human souls to quench their unnatural thirst.
Unsettling and unnatural sounds fill the night air. Lanterns cast flickering light and shadow on a twisted landscape. Herein dwell bizarre creatures celebrating the Harvest of the Souls. Within these shadows creep the soul harvesters in search of souls to quench their insatiable thirst.

Scarezone[]
At the entrance to the scarezone (near Hollywood) two pumpkin statues named Gog and Magog ushered guests into the scarezone. Various pumpkin and harvest themed props littered the small street, and scareactors in the form of Pumpkin Heads and tall scarecrows roamed the area.

- The scarezone won the Scarezone of the Year award in 2006.
- One of the sets used in this house seemed like a reused mine set from the Cemetery Mines scarezone in 2005.
- One of the masks from this scarezone was reused from the Night Prey scarezone during Halloween Horror Nights 13.
