Kill time in line and face off head-to-head against other event guests with TERROR TRIVIA. It's a race against the clock as you answer 13 fearsome multiple-choice levels and even face off against Universal Orlando Resort & Universal Studios Hollywood event guests on select nights.

Take a peek behind the blood-soaked curtains of our Mazes in our Production DIE-ries, including behind the scene facts from the event designers.

The Arcade[]

Grab your Halloween Horror Nights Coca-Cola Freestyle cup and scan the QR code on the side to unlock exclusive inspired mobile arcade games.

The games featured in the arcade were Stranger Things Run! and Universal Monsters Match!

Stranger Things: Run! was a top scroller running game where you're given the choice to choose Mike, Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, Max or Will and run away as far as possible dodging obstacles in your way through the Starcourt Mall as you try to outrun the Mindflayer.

Universal Monsters Match was a match em up game as you try to match up each correct monsters tiles and complete as much as you before the timer runs out.

Event Achievements[]

Throughout the park on your event night, seek out specialty Universal Play QR Codes for badges, points, and surprises as you explore. Earn points and badges for surviving Mazes or checking out event shows and keep an eye out for limited-time bonuses throughout the event!

Orlando's 2021 Mobile Game[]

Halloween Horror Nights 30 Mobile Game was created by X Studios in Partnership with Universal Parks and Resorts + Fanta.

Upon entering the mobile game, players would find themselves in Jack's Basement designed and illustrated by Ray Keim and brought to life by X Studios where they would find some easter eggs to Jack's past hidden as they scrolled left and right of the screen. The TV screen featured many different commercial and vignettes of Jack the Clown also selections such as Jack's Scattered Past written and directed by Rick Spencer & Nick Puglisi, Production Die-ries featuring Original Artwork from Artist Cryptigutz Sterling Denham and Achievements.

Kill time in line and face off head-to-head against other event guests with the return of event Trivia. It’s a race against the clock, as you answer fearsome multiple-choice levels surrounding this year’s Haunted Houses.

The Mummy - Tucked away in the hills of the Jackal, the High Priest of Anubis has placed the amulet of Amun-Ra within the chest of the mummified corpse of Kharis. This ancient being is now tasked with defending the temple and protecting the amulet. The power of the amulet also can reanimate other mummified creatures to assist Kharis in protecting the amulet - at all costs.

Team Objective:

Protect the Amulet of Amun-Ra.


The Wolf Man - Larry Talbot was bitten by a werewolf and cursed to transform into the beast every full moon. When in the grasp of the curse, Talbot maulsboth strangers and loved ones. During the days, before the full moon appears, he scours the globe for a cure to his curse. Recently, a mysterious benefactor has alerted to a sun god's amulet with the power to lift the curse of the moon.

Team Objective:

Use the Amulet to break the werewolf's curse.


Dracula - The centuries-old vampire aristocrat, Count Dracula has been searching for a way to conquer his greatest enemy: the sun. News of a powerful amulet reaches Dracula's castle. Could this amulet give the vampire the ability to become a Daywalker? Dracula books passage on a ship and hides in a coffin below deck for the voyage to the amulet's location. A vampire who can conquer the daylight can rule the world.

Team Objective:

Steal the Amulet to become a day walker.

Will your Alliance Break the Curse?

This year, the curse from Universal Monsters: Legends Collide has seeped into Universal Studios and its up to YOU and your team to form an alliance with the Universal Monsters to break the curse each night.

General Gameplay[]

  • Select your Alliance and play for your monster's goal, on your team, together.
  • From the map, locate each of the Cursed Portals throughout the park.

Cursed Portals[]

  • There's strength in numbers in this game, the more players from the same Alliance checking in, the more points are doubled.
  • Check in at a Cursed Portal by being close to the map marker (the skull icon will pulse with energy when you're close).
  • Opening a Cursed Portal will reveal a Cursed Mini-Game Challenge to play.

Stamina[]

  • Breaking a curse is hard work - so keep an eye out for your stamina in the top right corner of the map.
  • If out of Stamina, you will not be able to continue playing the Cursed Mini-Game Challenges until you replenish (either time, or by visiting your Alliance Monster's base).
  • To refill Stamina, check in/replenish at your Alliance's Base (look for the flag on the map) which is also near a Coca-Cola freestyle machine for refills.

Alliance Flares[]

  • If you need assistance or are being taken over by a rival Alliance, you can deploy one of three (3) "team flares" per night which messages your entire Alliance with the Portal you're at, and requests help from your Alliance Teammates.
  • Use these in moderation, since you only have three (3) per night.

Alliance Points[]

  • Any points award during Cursed Mini-Games are added your Alliance's master points.
  • The more Alliance Team Players at the same portal will "take over" that portal until a rival Alliance challenges you. You can see who has what portal, at any time, from the Map.
  • Trivia points do not impact Alliance Scores, but do impact your individual scores.

How to Win[]

  • The Alliance with the most Cursed Portal takeovers and points per night will be crowned victorious one (1) hour before park closing.
  • Two (2) hours before park close, the Curse will take over Cursed Alliance and a countdown will begin, this is your final chance to check in, and grab your final points.
  • You may check the statuz of your Alliance at any time by tapping the Stats menu. One Monster Alliance will be crowned victorious, and given the Amulet of Amun-Ra to break the curse each night.

Changing Your Alliance[]

  • You will be given one chance, per event night, to change your Alliance. You'll be greeted with a prompt at the start of that event day/night's festivities...choose wisely.
