- May 14th, 2024: Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood release a promotional video called "Fear Cannot Be Contained" which features a dark entity releasing out of the contained room.
- June 6th, 2024: Universal releases Single Night Tickets, Universal Express and Unlimited, After 2 PM Day/Night, After 2 PM Day/Night Express, R.I.P. Tour, Early Access Ticket Frequent Fear Passes & Ultimate Frequent Fear Passes and A Quiet Place is announced as the first haunted house coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2024.
- On June 17th, 2024: Universal announced an original haunted house called Dead Exposure: Death Valley coming to the event.
- On June 25, 2024: Universal announced an original haunted house called Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America would be coming to the event.
- On June 27, 2024: Universal announced that Ghostbusters Frozen Empire (Hollywood) haunted house would be coming to the event.
- On July 11, 2024: Universal Studios Hollywood announced Insidious: The Further (Hollywood) haunted house would be coming to the event.
- On July 25th, 2024: Universal announced Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines (Hollywood) was one of the haunted houses coming to the event.
- On July 28th, 2024: Universal and John Murdy would announce The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface at Midsummer Scream for the 50th anniversary of the movie and the scarezone Luchadores Monstruosos.
- On July 29th, 2024: Universal announced Murder of Crowz (Scarezone) as the second scarezone coming to the event.
- On July 31st, 2024: Chainsaw Punkz as the third scarezone coming to the event.
- On August 2nd, 2024: Skull Lordz as the fourth scarezone coming to the event.
- On August 6th, 2024: Universal would announce The Purge: Dangerous Waters show would return to the event.

- A Quiet Place (Hollywood 2024) (Year-Round Haunt Venue): Silence your screams if you want to survive the terrifying, post apocalyptic world. The monstrous creatures will hunt you if you make the slightest sound.
