Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (Hollywood 2024) was one of the haunted houses that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2024 (Hollywood). It was located in Curious George Tent 1, it was based off the Ghostbusters (Franchise).
History and Location[]
Universal announced that a haunted house based on the Ghostbusters (Franchise) and the latest movie Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and it would be featured at their Halloween Horror Nights event that year. The house would take guests through many of the scenes from the film series.
The house would be located in Curious George Tent 1.
Description[]
He’ll Chill You to the Bone
A bone-chilling new specter, Garraka, has escaped from an ancient artifact. He’ll stop you cold with a whole army of ghosts. Try not to freeze in fear as you dodge spears of ice and he freezes people solid before your eyes. The Ghostbusters must team up to save the world from a second Ice Age.

Queue and Facade[]
The facade of the haunted house was Ray's Occult Books with a hot dog stand with Slimer popping out and a taxi with the Cab Driver Ghost inside.
Haunted House[]
Guests enter Ray's Occult Shop and on their left Podcast pops out with his hammer as they continue forward on their Ray Stantz can be seen explaining the origins of the brass orb that contains Garraka as guests make a left and circle around a table front of podcast and pass some of shelves and wall that reveals the outfit of the Fire Master as they exit out of the room.
Guests then enter a dark hallway with the narration of Hubert Wartzki explaining the tragic story of the Manhattan Adventurers Society as guests exit the hallway and pass by a Knickerbocker Daily news paper as pops out of the newspaper forcing guests to make a right into the next room and into a hallway and the Manhattan Adventurers Society's room where many of the members can be seen frozen, a member springs to life and lunges at guest on their right as they pass they continue to pass by the long table of frozen society members on their left they are lunged at a firefighter on their right out of a door with a fire axe in his hand as they reach the end of the table and make a left and exit out room.
Guests then enter into a dark hallway and enter into the next room as they are in the New York City sewers, the Ecto-1 could be heard above them as they continue forward and passing by a sewer grate on their right and forward before entering the next room, a glowing in a hole revealing little Stay Puft Marshmallow Mini could be seen moving around as guests enter into the next room.
Guests enter the next hall as on their right they are lunged at by the Miner Ghost on the right as they make a left into a darken room where a sewer grate opening reveals the Hell's Kitchen Sewer Dragon popping out and growling at guests as they make a left out of the room.
Guests then enter the Ghostbusters' Paranormal Research Center, on their a left a portrait of Vigo The Carpathian could be on the wall as a projection of lighting strikes on it as the portrait fades and reveals Vigo in his demonic form behind it as on their right Stay Puft Marshmallow Minis could be seen messing some of the gadgets at a work table of equipment.
Guests then pass by a tube where the body of Phoebe could be seen lifeless as they pass by a couple of containment units and exit into the next room.
Guests then enter a hallway between two containment chambers shattered opened, where Scoleri Brothers both pop out at guests on either side as they continue into the next room they are attacked by Garraka on the right and another ghost on their left as they exit the room, they are attack on their left by one of the Terror Dogs as they walk pass a door with frozen projection and revealing the shadow of Garraka as guests make a right out of the room.
Guests then enter the next room in front of the Ghostbuster's headquarters facade now frozen as they are about to enter, Garraka lunges at guests on their right.
Guests enter a hallway and then into the next room as they are inside the firehouse as Janine could be with gear as guests make a left, on their right the Ecto-1 could be seen driving thrown an opened wall as guests around the barrier on their right, Winston Zeddamore appears on their right before they exit out of the room.
Guests then enter a hall and encounter Trevor Spengler zapping Slimer who pops out of a pile of trash as guests make a left and another as they exit the room.
Guests then enter back into the firehouse as on their right Phoebe Spengler and Nadeem can be seen in between Garraka who pops out of corridor lunging at guests as he is attacked by the duo, guests continue to the next room.
Guests enter the next room where they are attacked by Garraka one last time as they continue forward and attacked by Slimer before making a left out of the building.

- In the sewers scene The Pink slime makes an appearance in the house as one of the callbacks to the Ghostbusters Franchises' second film. It was noted that since the creative team was unable to fit this iconic scene in the first Ghostbusters house featured at Halloween Horror Nights 2019, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire would finally give them the opportunity to bring it to life at the event.
- The house was supposed to be cold but one of the two AC 5 Ton units had died out and Murdy and his team were if they could add it back in soon during the houses' run in the event.
- The taxi cab ghost was repurposed for the facade from the Ghostbusters haunted house facade during Halloween Horror Nights 2019.
- John Murdy would make a cameo in the facade of the haunted house as Tim Rockway in the flyer posters.
