The Projectionist was an character that appeared during Halloween Horror Nights: Sweet 16.
Appearance[]

Story[]
According to Roddy on a podcast, he worked with The Director and ran his films and watched them; turning crazy as a result.
After watching so many of The Director’s films and witnessing the evil he and his fellow Icons were capable of, The Projectionist attempted to warn their potential victims by showing them some of the films documenting their crimes, though advising that if they see too many like he has, they’ll “never want to stop”. However, once The Director realized his assistant was trying to work against him, he murdered the Projectionist through one of his filmstrips, slicing through the projection and seemingly drowning him in a torrent of blood. However, due to The Projectionist’s insanity, this may have simply been a hallucination as he eventually broke down and died from exposure to too many of the films.

He was shown in the "Sweet 16" video on the archives section, as well as the Sweet 16: The Director's Cut show.
