Immortal Island was one of the six scarezones that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights 13. It was located in the Lost Continent and served as the battleground for notable demons, such as the Ice Queen and the Fire King.
History and Location[]
For their Lost Continent scarezone featured at Halloween Horror Nights 13, Universal decided to have a sort of tie-in to the popular ride Dueling Dragons located in the Lost Continent. Like the ride, the scarezone would feature a battle between fire and ice, and would feature the return of the Nightmare from the previous years scarezone called Island of Evil Souls. This scarezone would be called Immortal Island
The scarezone would be featured in the Lost Continent area of the park, which is located between Jurassic Park and Seuss Landing. The area had three sections: A medieval village, a bazaar, and ancient ruins (featuring many Greek gods). Due to the linear nature of the park, this scarezone was designed to be the fifth one that guests would enter.
Description[]
From the bitter wasteland of the Ice Demon to the charred inferno of the Fire Demon, you're trapped in the midst of a titanic battle where no matter who wins, YOU LOSE!
Experience[]
The environment was a burnt down demonic village, and had a huge temple, where, on the final night of the event, the Final Battle took place. The Ice Queen, leader of the Ice Demons, was on a stage, and sometimes she could be seen leading her minions. Cold fog would cover the streets of the ice side. The Ice Minions were blue and white. On the fire side, The Fire King would lead his fire demons, which look like normal demons from hell. The Fire and Ice Demons were the Chainsaw Drill Team.
