Fractured Tales was one of the six scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights: Reflections of Fear. It was located in the Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone.
History and Location[]
In 2008, Universal decided to have a scarezone based on the evil fairy tale/ nursery rhyme idea. Fractured Tales would be a scarezone with twisted versions of famous characters from certain fairy tales and nursery rhymes. It would unofficially tie in to both the Scary Tales: Once Upon a Nightmare haunted house and The Hallow haunted house.
The scarezone would be located in an area called the Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone, an area dedicated to entertaining young children. It is located in between Central Park and Springfield (then the International Food Bazaar).

Enter your favorite fairy tales and find out what happens when Grimm goes wrong. Witness these stories through the lens of their reality. Look closely and you will find the terrible truths that lie just below the sweet appearance of these classic tales. You will learn a thing or two about yourself, but by then it may be too late!!!

Guests would encounter warped fairy tale characters and Samhain. Around Peter’s Pumpkin were voices reciting warped fairytales (Ex: “Little Bo Beep, she ate her sheep, the end!”).
