Scary Tales was one of the four scarezones that were featured duringHalloween Horror Nights 4 (Singapore). It was located in the Lost World. The scarezone was the fourth entry in the Scary Tales franchise (the first three were located in Orlando).
Description[]
The forest of disenchantment has ensnared your favorite fairy tales and twisted them into nightmares, warping familiar characters you know from childhood almost beyond recognition. Desperate, depraved and dangerous, they will trap you with them if you let your guard down!
Story[]
The storyline of this attraction was reminiscent of Scary Tales: Once Upon A Nightmare. It was one of the lands of the Minister of Evil’s rule, brought forth by the powers of Hell; literally. The Scribes of Scare had twisted the fairy tales of the Disenchanted Forest into Grimm parodies of themselves so that the forces of good turned evil, heroes became villains, and endings were anything but happy.
Experience[]
Various fairy tale characters and props lined the streets of the Lost World. For example, The Little Mermaid could be seen hanging upside-down by her fin. The Evil Queen has become a grotesque parody of her formerly elegant self since her story was rewritten so that she was the ugliest of them all instead of the fairest. Hansel and Gretel were cannibals who had taken over the candy-coated cottage and found better usage for the oven as well. The hairless Rapunzel was trapped in her tower while her hair has entangled, strangled, and wrapped itself around its victims. Little Red Riding Hood became a sexy huntress with The Big Bad Wolf as her companion.
