Fallout would be announced as one of the haunted houses coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2025 (Hollywood). The house would be based on the Amazon Prime Video series based on the video game series of the same name.

Description

The Vaults Can’t Save You Now

Experience

Haunted house

Guests enter to see a glowing yellow sign of the Fallout logo. As they turn right, they enter Vault 33, which is already in peril. Red and blue lights flash and sirens wail, and within moments of entering the vault, guests are attacked by Monty from the left. Lucy MacLean pops out from the right in her bloodied wedding dress, announcing the raiders’ presence as she wields a knife. Guests then encounter the corpse of an unlucky Vault Dweller on the ground, and to their right they see another Vault Dweller in a pool of blood. Another Vault Dweller is killed by a raider in front of them as they make their way through the chaos.

When they turn left, they’re immediately attacked by a raider who brandishes his bat at them. They walk past the door to Vault 32, which is already open. Guests enter a short vault hallway filled with the hanging bodies of vault dwellers, and the words “We Know The Truth” written in blood on the right hand wall. From the right, Norm MacLean pops out with a flashlight that he shines in guests’ faces as he tries to make sense of what he is seeing around him.

Guests then leave the vaults and enter the wasteland, where they are almost immediately ambushed by a raider. They can see the large swathes of land and sky all around them as they approach a crumbling house. In the left window, radroaches scuttle about, and in the right window, Roger the ghoul lunges out from the broken glass. As guests enter the house, Roger lunges for them once more, but they soon enter a wooded graveyard.

In the graveyard, guests find a body crucified up ahead, but as they turn left they are met with a large, open coffin from which The Ghoul emerges. Guests go through a short, black hall and then enter another wooded area where they see Maximus standing in front of Titus in his T-60 power armor and firing his gun at something. They turn the corner to find what he was shooting at, the Yao Guai Bear, that roars at them.

After taking another dark hallway, guests arrive at the front entrance of Super Duper Mart, where The Ghoul comes out from the shadows and fires his gun into the air. They enter Super Duper Mart to be met with the silhouette of Snip Snip sharpening its blades as Lucy runs out from behind a curtain once more, wielding defibrillators. Then, guests turn the next corner, they find themselves surrounded by feral ghouls that lunge at them from all sides.

After escaping the ghouls, guests encounter the silhouette projection of a Deathclaw raring up to attack. They turn to the right to see a sign for the Lucky 38 Casino before exiting the house.

• In the announcement trailer for the haunted house, a Vault-Tec poster can be seen on the left side of the TV.
• In the announcement trailer for the haunted house, a Cram meat poster can be seen on the right side of the TV. Cram is a food item that can be found in the Fallout series.
• According to Murdy, this treatment for this house was 100 pages which feature both a narrative guide and a technical breakdown from start to finish.
• This is the four of five haunted houses that have been featured in the event history to be based on a video game series.
• According to John Murdy, the Power Armor is a full animatronic; we’re doing it as a fully animated figure in the house.
• According to Murdy also teased that each Fallout house will have its own “creature takes,” and Hollywood’s will be the horrifying Yao Guai Bear.
• According to John Murdy, this house was the second house treatment he worked on for this year's event.
• According to John Murdy, eventgoers will get to experience stepping out into the wasteland with a “big cyclorama to make it feel endless all around you and convey that post-apocalyptic horror.” Fans can also navigate the Ghoul’s graveyard and Ghoul-infested Super Duper Mart.
• According to John Murdy, the irradiated bear, Yao Guai Bear is one of the biggest creatures they've ever built — with the clay alone on it, the sculpt weighs over 500 pounds.
• Both Orlando and Hollywood would have their unique aspects of the ip including the use of the T-60 Armor.
• The Universal Studios Orlando & Universal Studios Hollywood Teams were provided asset access to recreate the TV series’ universe, including full turnarounds and 3D models of The Ghoul (the character played by Walton Goggins) and his face so the even’s masks are identical to the look in the show.
• According to Lora Sauls, this house was being created while the filming of new episodes for the series were being made for the second season which will be teased in the house.
