Evil Dead Rise was one of the eight haunted houses that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2023 (Hollywood).
History and Location[]
On August 9th, 2023, Universal would announce that Evil Dead Rise would be coming exclusively to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood 2023 based on the film.
Description[]
Meet the neighbors from hell as an ancient curse rises in a new setting: an L.A. apartment building.
An ancient curse rises in a new settings: an L.A. apartment building. The Book of the Dead is about to be unleash unimaginable horrors on you and your scream squad. Evil has come home.
Experience[]
Queue and Facade[]
Guests enter down the hall of the building where lights and static flickered on their right the logo of Evil Dead was projected on the wall continuing in the queue the body of Ellie can be seen hanging and twitching in the elevator on their right as they pass and enter the house.
Haunted House[]
Guests enter the house and down a hallway as they hear Ellie laughing as they make a right and walk through a curtain
Guests see a doorway ahead where Ellie can be seen a flashing light room as guests make a left into the next.
Guests enter the apartment bathroom as on their left Ellie can be seen popping out of the bathtub as guests continue out of the room and down a hallway and around the corner going through a curtain and another after as on Ellie swiping with a shard glass on their left as they make a right and enter into Danny's bedroom where the vinyls can be seen on sprawled on the bed and the walls behind the bed begin to change revealing the pages of the Book of the Dead as on the right of guests is Danny's desk where the book can be seen wide open and the vinyl can be heard playing in the background while behind the desk the walls reveal another page of the Book of the Dead, guests make their way around the bed and are attacked by Ellie before exiting the room.
Guests enter another hallway as they continue forward they go through another curtain as they see the front door blocked as they make a left and continue forward through another curtain as they are in the apartment room kitchen where a Deadite Bridget can be seen on the right of guests with a shard of glass as guests make a left they are attacked by Deadite Danny busting through a door on their right as they exit the room
Guests enter into the living room of the apartment where they make their way around as on their left Ellie busts through a door and on their right Kassie can be seen on the couch as they walk pass and are attacked by a burnt Deadite Bridget swiping at guests with a knife on their left through glass door opening as they continue forward as exit through some curtains.
Guests enter through another hallway where on their right they're attacked by Deadite Danny busting through a door and exit through to the hallway of the apartment where on their right Deadite Jake comes busting through the door and sprinting at guests next to him lying dead on the ground on the wall is Scott as guests make their way to left and then right around the corner through curtains.
Guests enter another apartment hallway where on their left where Deadite Gabriel busts through the door and lunges as guest as they walk pass and exit the room and enter another hallway where Deadite Mr. Fonda can comes out of door and lunges at guests on their left as they make their right and through another hallway and through a curtain.
Guests enter into another hallway leading towards the elevator where blood can be seen oozing underneath as they are about to make a left through the curtain Deadite Bridget can be seen popping out of a door on the right side of the elevator as a distraction as Deadite Ellie pops out a doorway on their left.
Guests then enter a darkly lit stone wall hallway and continuing through a curtain as they make a right into another hallway where they see a silhouette spotlight of The Marauder as they walk around a corner into another stone hallway as they exit through another curtain.
Guests enter another hallway and through a curtain and make a left as the Marauder sprints towards guests out of the Monde Apartments doorway on their right as they continue forward cracks in the walls show with red lighting appearing through them as guests make a right into darkness as they continue forward through another curtain, where they are attacked by a bloodied Beth wielding a chainsaw.
Guests as they make a right are attacked about The Marauder coming through a hole of the storm wall on their left as they continue through the darkness as they make a left around a corner and through a black curtain with one last encounter with Beth as they exit the house.

- According to John Murdy, he considers this house would be scary and gory.
- The house reuses much of the same layout and setpieces at Universal Horror Hotel, which was the house in the same spot the previous year. It was rumored that this house was originally supposed to be in the previous year, but it was scrapped and the concept was reworked into Universal Horror Hotel.
