Earthquake: The Big One was a special effects simulation ride formerly located at Universal Studios Florida. It was closed in 2007, and was replaced by Disaster!: A Major Motion Picture Ride...Starring You!. It operated June 7, 1990 - November 5, 2007.
Use at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando[]
The ride had been run multiple years for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando. During Halloween Horror Nights II, it was "horrified" into Terror Underground. The same ride and pre-show remained in place, but scareactors themed to zombies were added to the ride's boarding area. The queue for the attraction has also been used for haunted houses from 1994-2007 (Excluding 2002, 2003, and 2005).
