Dark Zodiac was one of the five scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 32. It was located in Hollywood.
History and Location[]
On July 28th, 2023, Universal announced that they would be featuring a scarezone based on the 12 Zodiac signs. The scarezone would tie into the event icon, Dr. Oddfellow, as each of the twisted and distorted Zodiac sign characters were created by him after he harnessed their power and took over their dimension.
The house would follow the success of a Singapore scarezone by the same name that was featured during Halloween Horror Nights 10.
The scarezone would be located in an area called Hollywood, an area of Universal Studios Florida located to the right of the park entrance. It is a recreation of the city of Hollywood (minus the famous sign).
The codenames for the scarezones were vegetables, the codename for this scarezone was Onions because there are many layers to an onion similar many signs to the Zodiac.
Description[]
Dr. Oddfellow has entered a dark dimension to harness the power of the Zodiac and live forever. He twists the signs into malevolent beings who foretell your doom. As his star rises, yours falls.
Backstory[]
In his quest for immortality, Dr. Oddfellow has successfully found a way to travel to and take over the Zodiac Dimension, twisting the Zodiac signs patron entities into his own devilish creations. With their power fully under his command, Oddfellow had finally become truly unstoppable…or so he thought.
After his supposed death in 2007 at the hands of his former protégé, a resurrected and vengeful Jack the Clown, Oddfellow’s soul was cast back into the Zodiac Dimension, greatly weakened and lost for years, believed to be sealed away. Now, having found a mysterious way to return to the mortal world, Oddfellow has opened a tear into the Zodiac and lured sacrifices in to rebuild his strength through the Zodiac creatures’ kills.

Guests entered the zone passing by a signage poster featuring the name of the zone and the different zodiacs, in the zone were different stages featuring zodiac signs represented, two of the stages being torture devices for two unlucky victims being punished by either Virgo, Pisces, Aries and Saguttarius who would take turns on their on both stages, among the stages, many of the other zodiacs were wandering around and along with celestial type creatures and chainsaw minions, on the ground of the zone were Oddfellow's symbol with the zodiac symbols around in it in a circle spinning.

Trivia[]
- The zone was a mix of the Zodiac, Tarot, and Elemental signs.
- It featured dark, twisted versions of the Zodiac which Dr. Oddfellow had created.
- This zone was one of the many that year that were essentially showing a timeline of all of the terrible acts and monsters that were unleashed by Oddfellow in his past.
- A cork in one of the barrels in front of Oddfellow's caravan said Halloween Horror Nights 23 Never Go Alone, with the 23 being the font style of Halloween Horror Nights 23. The Cork seemed to be accidentally added as it was replaced.
- One night in the zone some of the scareactors instead they’re wearing face paint instead of masks. Apparently they were having some health concerns related to the masks/gloves…
- During some nights the Chainsaw Minions would switch out their chainsaws for swords that were similar to that of Final Fantasy's Clouds' Buster Sword from the series but the swords would be designed with the respective zodiac signs on them and glow.
