Containment was one of the six scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights: Ripped from the Silver Screen. It was located in the Plaza of the Stars.
History and Location[]
In 2009, Universal decided to have a scarezone based in a quarantine zone. The scarezone would be called Containment and would feature lots of green fog. Overall, it was most likely the smallest official scarezone at the event that year.
The scarezone would be located in an area called Plaza of the Stars. The area is a street located in front of the park entrance.
Description[]
When an experimental bio-nerve gas is accidentally released into the atmosphere, the streets are filled with a toxic green mist that turns anyone that comes in contact with it into an infected, melting glob of flesh and blood.
Backstory[]
A biological chemical warfare has been unleashed in the air, it is a chemical agent that could cause deterioration to your skin among other things and many of the victims have fallen into different stages of disease that has been unleashed.
Decoration[]
The main feature of the scarezone were two massive, white, inflatable arches stretching over the street. Several white plastic crates were placed along the street, spewing green fog that scareactors would occasionally inhale and expel out their masks. On the Hollywood side of the scarezone was a Unimog truck with a military officer with a bullhorn, giving warnings, stages of infection, proper procedure for getting through the containment zone, and mocking people passing by.
