Buffy & Angel: Hellmouth Haunt was one of the five haunted mazes that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2000 (Hollywood). It was located in the Mummy Queue.

Description

Basically, the guests become part of an episode of Buffy, where they explore some of the sets from Buffy, including Buffy’s dorm and Sunnydale Park. They walk through those sets and experience them and then they go through a subway, and when they get off the subway they end up in Los Angeles in Angel’s world. They experience Angel’s apartment, and some of the other settings from that show.

Trivia

• Universal had pitched to Joss Whedon of making a maze for based on the two shows and Whedon was in loved with the idea. He would go on to help concept and develop the maze alongside Universal.
• On Friday The 13th, Joss Whedon, Anthony Head, Alyson Hannigan and Amber Benson visited to meet the fans and experience the maze themselves.
• While in line Guests were treated with tvs playing Season 2 episodes of "Surprise" and "Innocence" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV Series.
