History and Location[]

In 2008, Universal decided to have a scarezone based on a twisted version of the famous children's story, Alice in Wonderland. In this scarezone, guests would take a trip through Alice's insane mind. The scarezone would unofficially tie-in to the haunted house Scary Tales: Once Upon a Nightmare.

The scarezone would be located in an area called Hollywood, an area of Universal Studios Florida located to the right of the park entrance. It is a recreation of the city of Hollywood (minus the famous sign).

The scarezone would receive a 3D sequel house in 2015 titled, Asylum in Wonderland 3D.

Description[]

"Step into The Looking Glass...."

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it wasn't and contrary-wise, what it is it wouldn't be, what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"

Stepping through The Looking Glass, you find yourself in the depths of journeying through the nightmare that Alice couldn't escape. The wonderful figures you once believed to inhabit this fantastical place have been peering into The Looking Glass themselves and have come face to face with Bloody Mary.

Story[]

Asylum In Wonderland was Bloody Mary's twisted version of Alice in Wonderland, where the characters from the novel had looked into the mirror of the event's icon, Bloody Mary and had gone mad.

It took place in the Fears realm of The Mirror where Bloody Mary preformed her “fear therapy”.
