Apocalypse Island was one of the four scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights X. It was located in Central Park.
History and Location[edit | edit source]
Central Park is a small wooded area connecting World Expo to Hollywood. There are two paths, one going along the Universal Lagoon and the other going through the trees. In 2000, Universal decided to put a scarezone in the first of these two paths. The scarezone would feature many different creatures.
Experience[edit | edit source]
This scarezone had dark-clothed scareactors stepping out of the shadows, scaring guests by rattling iron cans filled with pebbles.[1] There were also reportedly many zombies and mutants.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This was the first scarezone that was located in Central Park.
