7 was one of the six scarezones that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 21. It was located in Hollywood. The scarezone featured all of the seven deadly sins: Gluttony, Wrath, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Lust, and Pride.

History and Location[]

In 2011, Universal decided to have a scarezone based on the seven deadly sins. The scarezone would feature seven different stages, one for each sin, as well as different minions for each of them. The scarezone would be one of the most unique in the events history, as it "evolved" overnight. The sins would start out as beautiful, seductive women by day, and turn to ugly, grotesque creatures by night.

The scarezone would be located in an area called Hollywood, an area of Universal Studios Florida located to the right of the park entrance. It is a recreation of the city of Hollywood (minus the famous sign).

The scarezone would be very popular and would win the Scarezone of the Year award in 2011.

Description[]

By day, these seven Temptresses appear as a spectacle of beauty. But by night, they show their true fatal evil forms.

As daylight shines upon our Temptresses, their appearance, though evil, allows you the spectacle of beauty. As night falls, these 7 temptresses will show their true colors and take on their true Fatal Evil forms!! Beware of your own temptations!

Experience[]

The entrance to the scarezone was a huge sign in front of Hollywood Boulevard with the number 7 on it. Each of the seven deadly sins danced on their assigned stage with their own specially designed number ‘7’ and an equally decorate throne. They each wore a porcelain mask which would come off at night to reveal their true, grotesque faces. Along with each sin were two male minions in themed costumes who would scare guests as the women kept them distracted.

As the night progressed, the sins went through three stages starting beautiful with Scala & Kolancy Brothers’ cover of “The Beautiful People”, then progressively more disturbing as the night went on. It would end with the original “The Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson at night.

Each sin had their own color. Gluttony was purple, Sloth was blue, Greed was gold, Envy was green, Wrath was Black, Lust was Red, and Pride was Pink.
Some of the scareactors would reappear during during Halloween Horror Nights 25 in the ICONS:HHN scarezone.
This scarezone won Scarezone of the Year in 2011.
